Overview

Volocopter developed multicopter eVTOL designs including VoloCity for urban air taxi use and pursued EASA SC-VTOL certification before insolvency proceedings. In March 2025 Diamond Aircraft (Wanfeng Auto Holding Group) completed a reorganization/acquisition securing a scaled continuation in Germany. Treat current certification and product roadmap as restructuring-dependent; do not assume prior EASA timelines still apply.
